Stranded in Goa when finance for her low budget Hollywood movie falls apart, Marigold finds herself in a small role as part of a Bollywood musical.

Eager to prove herself, she enlists the aid of Prem (Salman Khan), the film's choreographer. Talented and hard working, Prem left his privileged life behind to follow his dreams.

Unable to deal with this development, Marigold angrily departs Prem's family estate. But she is urged back by Janvi who confesses that Prem doesn't love her and never will.

Salman dropped Kareena for Katrina

Salman Khan has ditched Kareena royally and the actress is upset about the way Khan's team is going about treating the issue.

Kareena had been finalised to play the lead opposite Salman Khan in My Punjabi Nikaah. That was long ago. Now Salman Khan's girl Katrina Kaif has become bigger than what she was after a string of better movies.

So Salman didn't really think twice before calling and asking Kareena to step out so that he could cast Katrina in the film and spend more time with her.

Also since Khan too is moving towards a Nikaah with Katrina, everyone felt it was a good idea.

Trouble happened with some of Khan's cronies started spreading the word that it was Kareena who had dropped out of the film. Obviously they did not want the market to know that Salman had dropped a heroine to accommodate his girl.

Salman is reluctant to Kiss!

Salman, by his own admission, is often tempted to overstep the law and do what he knows to be wrong.

However, he has much greater respect for his ethos. When it comes to kissing his leading ladies he just won't do it, in deference to his culture and upbringing.

Admitting his proclivity to tread over the law, in a recent interview with a newspaper, Salman explained that he had an evil side that he is not very fond of.

"It is my conscious effort to control that and not to go to the evil side. I have got a tremendous evil side that I don't like. I know this is good, this is bad, and what the right way is. And that is my constant battle, my constant fight with myself," he said.

In sharp contrast, when it comes to kissing his leading ladies on screen, Salman is clear headed and categorical - He won't do it!

According to a source, before he signed up for 'Marigold', his next release and first Hollywood film, the yet to be married 42-year-old told Willard Carroll, the director, that he will not kiss on screen. "No kissing scenes, please!" he said.

Carroll confirms Salman made his sign up conditional.

"That's right. Out there in the West, it's different, but the culture in India is different, and I respect it. Salman came and told me, 'what face will I show my father?' Now, who can argue with that?"

Oh! Salman. You make your fans so proud of you!

While Katrina's away Sallu plays!

Salman's Yorkshire IIFA buddy Sienna Miller is in town and our kind hearted bad boy gave her the perfect taste of fine Indian hospitality at a lavish party in his Bandra home.

Miller, who is in India to promote Global Cool (an organisation that creates awareness about global warming) along with Amitabh Bachchan met her at the IIFA awards in Yorkshire last month and two hit off great since then.

Salman wanted to make her feel welcome in Mumbai so he hosted a perfect dinner for her at his place.

Sienna arrived at the party clad in a simple white dress made of hakoba, white bangles and kolhapuri chappals, looking relaxed and very bohemian chic! She danced to lots of Bollywood songs and had a blast till 5 am at Salman’s house!”

Other guests at the intimate party included the usual suspects like Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz and Malaika, Amrita Arora, Arjun Rampal, Anil Kapoor and Dino Morea, among others. Katrina Kaif was away shooting in London.

Miller is on a week-long trip. She met Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday and urged Indians to do more to slow global warming.

"If each one of us does our bit, we will be helping to keep global warming from harming our countries," she said.

Big B is the brand ambassador for Indian International Film Academy which in turn has aligned with Global Cool, an organization that spreads awareness about global warming.

The American-born English actress is self-confessed Indiaholic- loves Indian food, Indian people and Indian films so much so that she wants to star in them one day.

Avoid John, Salman to Katrina

We thought that they had patched up but after watching John talking about Salman at Koffee with Karan the truce between the Bollywood hunks seems like a distant dream

At the show John stated, “If you ask me today also what the problem is between us, honestly, I don’t know, but it’s unfortunate that there is a problem.. And if things get okay it will be nice.”

Neither John nor Salman have spoken openly about the reasons behind their silent war but members of the ‘Rockstar’ team say, “There was definitely a problem between the two on this show and a lot of it was in Salman’s head. You see, Salman had appointed himself the unofficial rock star of the concerts.

But John kept getting as much frenzied applaud on stage as Salman did, if not more. This hurt Salman’s ego. Also the fact that John kept to his own space, hung around with his best friend whom he had taken along on the tour, instead of joining Salman’s coterie, really hurt Salman. He’s basically like a child who wants and needs constant attention.”

He made his dislike for John even more evident, when he recently blamed the second half of Baabul as responsible for the film’s bad performance at the box-office. Incidentally, Salman is present only in the first half of the film and the second half revolves around John. And when asked if he had stopped talking to John, he retorted, “But when did we start talking?”

Salman also seems to be having second thoughts about doing Rituparno Ghosh’s remake of the 1962 classic Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam for which Ghosh has finalised Salman, John and Priyanka Chopra.

Taking the rivalry a step further, Salman has reportedly instructed girlfriend Katrina Kaif not to work opposite John in any film. Kaif, caught between her beau and her career, had to apparently turn down two films opposite John. Katrina had to let go of the UTV produced film Rockstar and the T.Series produced film Chandramukhi.

Not only this, Salman even included John’s girlfriend Bipasha Basu in the enmity. Salman snubbed old friend Bipasha when she greeted him at the GIFA awards in Malaysia. According to sources “Bipasha is irritated with Salman’s childish attitude and has decided not to give a damn either.”

But commendable is the fact that John is still trying to make things fall in place. Perhaps because the last thing he prefers is to get into controversies.

On ‘Koffee with Karan’, John tried to clear his stand, “I think I used to say hello... but he is kind of upset with me... He is a senior...so I don’t get into the way of things... it’s important that I understand that I have come here to work. I have not come here to make enemies. I don’t want to get into the middle of any controversies.”

It was interesting to see the modest John biting his tongue, when one of his fans said that he is the only actor who makes them forget the ultimate macho Salman Khan.

But he tried his best to appease Salman by grading Khan’s physique better than his, in the rapid fire round later. And when Karan asked him which actor comes to his mind when he hears the tagline ‘Just Do It!’ John mischievously replied “Salman Khan”. We hope Salman is listening.
