Rani not engaged to Aditya

Even as the media went berserk about a piece of gossip they had heard about Rani Mukherjee's engagement to Aditya Chopra, Rani's father Ram Mukherjee dashed off a fax to most newspapers stating that no such 'rokka' ceremony had taken place.

Even Pamela Chopra, Aditya Chopra's mother and Yash Chopra's wife also clarified that the two weren't engaged on Monday as it was being speculated.

This is not the first time that such news has spread. Long ago news about Rani Mukherjee and Adnan Sami's engagement also did the news and eveyrone laughed it away. But this one is no laughing matter as Pamela has also clarified that the family has no problems with Rani.
